Vogelsberg SPD politicians visit MK Versuchsanlagen

Patrick Krug and Maximilian Ziegler visit MK Versuchsanlagen

On March 28, 2025, Maximilian Ziegler, Member of the State Parliament (SPD), and Patrick Krug, Deputy District Administrator and Chairman of the Vogelsberg SPD, visited our company in Mücke-Merlau. They were accompanied by Matthias Weitzel, Chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the district council, and Dirk Neumann, Chairman of the local SPD chapter. The focus of the visit was on discussions about industry challenges, vocational training, and the future of the regional economy.

We are a globally operating family business employing around 250 people from 15 nations. We manufacture advanced systems such as metal-free cleanrooms, glove testing devices, and precision measurement instruments used in industries like pharmaceuticals, food production, semiconductors, and research institutions. A key priority for us is training skilled workers – we currently offer around 30 apprenticeship positions across nine different professions.

Company management emphasized the need for more reliable political decisions and reduced bureaucracy to enable long-term investments and sustainable development. The visit highlighted the importance of regional cooperation and dialogue between politics and business.
