Money and space are limiting factors in many areas of research. MK, a manufacturer of customised special systems and equipment, has developed a solution: we design, develop, and install fully metal-free cleanrooms and laboratories in mobile containers. This system offers a range of advantages for users, as it can be applied in various research and production settings around the world.
Rapid deployment
The MK Mobile Lab can usually be set up as a temporary or mobile building and is therefore not subject to the comprehensive official regulations of a new building.
Safety aspects
The use of mobile cleanroom solutions enables an individual approach to safety issues. If special safety precautions are required, such as for research in the field of nanotechnology or biohazardous substances, these can be implemented quickly and directly.

The metal-free laboratories can be individually adapted and converted according to the needs of the users.
Mobility and flexibility

The project consists of six containers. Two of them house the ventilation system, HEPA filtration, and technical infrastructure. The cleanroom, made up of four containers, meets cleanroom class <6 (DIN EN ISO 14644) and is equipped with vertical laminar-flow workbenches, electronically controlled thermal digestion and extraction units, distillation systems, an ultrapure water system, a weighing room, and a preparation room with desk workstations and cabinets for sample preparation and storage.
